LP1 Firmware Release Notes
Version history and changes for Looperlative products
Version 3_25
GenB firmware lp1b_v3_25.bin : LP2 GenD firmware lp2d_v3_25.syx : RPi LP1 firmware rpi_lp1_3_25.bin
- Some renaming of items in the LP functions list to group some items together. This leaves the list mostly alphabetic with wording changes to keep like items next to each other. Also, added spaces into names to maintain numeric order.
- Retrigger Rhythmic (momentary): A momentary function assignable to a pad or MIDI note. Based on quantization value, repeats a portion of the loop until released. On release, loop restarts at the point it would have been at if you hadn't used this function. Can be combined with non-momentary functions in sequence (e.g., Quant Value 12 -> Retrigger Rhythmic (momentary)). Non-momentary functions only execute on press and not release.
- Replace (momentary) revived from the LP2.
- Function list in LooperlativeConfigure changed from a scrolling combobox to a large dialog. Window size and shape fits on 768-pixel-height screens. The currently selected choice is highlighted. Momentary functions are alphabetized with all the rest. Momentary functions only appear in the list for Pad buttons and MIDI Note buttons.
- New volume knob curve to address smoothness when using an expression pedal.
- Device version less than 3.23 warning will only show up once per application start.
- JSON configuration on LP1 and LP2.
- Race condition in REC->PLAY->DUB fixed.
- Support for USB MIDI devices that send same messages across multiple virtual devices.
- Stretch/shrink no longer move to new tracks, but instead can be undone.
